UN Goal 15 – Life on Land
“Protect, restore and promote sustainable use of terrestrial ecosystems, sustainably manage forests, combat desertification, and halt and reverse land degradation and halt biodiversity loss” According to the UN, human activity has altered almost 75% of the earth’s surface, squeezing wildlife and nature into an ever-smaller corner of the planet.
The statistics on the rates of biodiversity loss, desertification, soil degradation and deforestation make for grim reading.
Which is why protection and restoration of our natural world must be prioritised along with emissions reductions.
Companies must leave the environment in which they operate in a better state than when they arrived and ensure no one in their supply chain is profiting from destruction of our natural resources.
At sustain:able we look to work with your company to identify the opportunities to ensure you are doing all you can to help protect and restore our natural environment.
Be a part of the solution.
